The 29th Annual Day celebrations of SKPS took place on 22nd February 2022 with all its charm and elegance. The official meeting was noted by the august presence of eminent personalities. The meeting was presided over by Rev. Fr. Biju Thazhathucheruvil OSB, Prior, Vallombrosan Benedictine Congregation. The Principal, Rev. Fr. Joby Kurian Pannoorayil OSB presented the School Annual Report of the academic year 2021-2022. The Chief Guest of the function, Sri. Unni Mukundan, the heartthrob of the youth and the highly talented actor inaugurated the Annual Day celebrations. In his inaugural address, he appreciated the inventive thinking of the institution and praised the academic excellence of students. Smt. P R Sushama teacher, Njeezhoor Grama Panchayat President felicitated on the auspicious occasion and shared her memories as a teacher. Sri. Johnson Kottukappalil , Block Panchayat member, Smt. Shiny Stephen, Ward Member, Njeezhoor Grama Panchayat also felicitated on the occasion. The meeting was marked by the presence of Mr Joby George, a famous film producer in the Malayalam film industry. Mr Santhosh Jacob, PTA President appreciated the persistent efforts made by the school in providing quality education.

The Chief Guest Sri. Unni Mukundan and Mr Joby George were honoured by Rev. Fr. Biju Thazhathucheruvil OSB, Prior, Vallombrosan Benedictine Congregation. The milestone of SKPS, the APKOS award was received by the Manager and Principal from the Chief Guest. Kumari Gowri Pramod, the school topper who secured 100% victory in the AISSE-X board examination, the best teacher award, the Award of Excellence- Guruvandhanam winner Ms. Mary Clemence, English teacher of SKPS, State level Poetry competition by Vidyarangam Kalasahityavedi winner Mrs Shijimole A C, Malayalam teacher of SKPS were honoured in the occasion by the chief guest. On the wondrous occasion, all bowed their heads in front of the memories of Late Sri. Alleppey Ranganath, the former director of SKPS music academy and the token of love was received by Smt. Rajasree Ranganath, who is also the co-curricular in charge of SKPS. The fantabulous stage of SKPS was opened up which is the very incarnation of the great artist Mr Rejeev Raghavan who was also honoured in the function. The students who brought laurels to the school in the board examinations and the school toppers were also honoured.

SKPS Kalalokam the new venture of the school is an excellent platform to express the talents of students launched its 101st episode and the master brain behind it, Mr Jacob K M was honoured in the Annual day function. Rev. Fr. Tomy Thervalakattayil OSB, the Manager honoured two of the veteran teachers and auxiliary staff of SKPS who have retired this year for their devoted and committed service- Mrs Leela Thampy, Mrs Jessy Raju, Science teachers and Mr Vijayakumar by draping them with the golden shawl and handing over mementoes. Rev. Fr. Tomy Thervalakattayil OSB, the Manager of SKPS was also honoured in the function as he leaves SKPS after his dedicated, diligent and assiduous service. Mr Babu Joseph, Vice Principal proposed the vote of thanks. The official meeting was followed by cultural bonanza live-streamed in SKPS Youtube channel.
