“There is no garden as beautiful as childhood. ” Every child is a different kind of flower, together they make this world a beautiful garden. There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children. Children become the happiness of the society and home, as well as future of the country. They are blessed by the God and they conquer our hearts with their angelic faces and innocent smiles.

The Children’s Day celebrations of our S. K. P. S family was held on 14th November, 2019 amidst great cheer and happiness. S. K. P. S always strives to emerge out with something new for its students and children’s day being a day especially for them. As it is generally seen, students perform for teachers on various occasions, but today on 14th November 2019 at S. K. P. S, teachers gave various performances for the students to express their love and care for them. The programme started with the morning assembly conducted by the teachers of the Junior Section. The anchoring, thought, speech, and the news reading sessions were handled by the young, vibrant teaching faculties of S. K. P. S.

The official inaugural function began at 11.00 a.m. with a lovely orison by the school choir, to pay salutation to the Lord Almighty, followed by the welcome of Mrs. PrasannaKumari J, the staff secretary of S. K. P. S. The special guests of the day Kumari Irine Ann Siby, who brought honour and popularity to Sanjose Vidyalaya Special School, Ettumanoor by getting celebrated as the Miss Kerala 2019, Rev. Sr. Keerthana SJC, the co-ordinator of Sanjose Vidyalaya and Adv. Jayachandran lighted the customary lamp to mark the inauguration of day’s proceedings. The special guests and budding stars of Sanjose Special School were honoured by the School Management. After that our former manager Rev. Fr. Shaji Padinjarekunnel OSB paid tribute to children, with his words of wisdom.He emphasised on the need to provide fulfilled childhood and better education to children. Finally Rev. Sr. Keerthana SJC, Co-ordinator of Sanjose Vidyalaya, Adv. Jayachandran and Mr. Santhosh Jacob, the P. T. A President of S.K.P. S felicitated the function. It was followed by the vote of thanks by Mr. George Korah Sir.

Various cultural programmes got underway after the official meeting. The blooming buds of Sanjose Vidyalaya and vibrant faculties of S. K. P. S enthralled, beguiled and bewitched the audience with their mesmerizing performances. The power packed performances set the stage on fire. The students were overwhelmed with the entire effort. The celebrations reached its helm, when teachers entered on the stage with a captivating dance performance. The students cheered their teachers and laughed boisterously at their jokes. The entire school campus was buzzing with excitement and joy. The day ended in a beautiful resonance lingering in everybody’s minds.The entire programme was applauded by everybody present and will remain etched in the memory of one and all. On concluding the report, we express our praise to the Almighty, who guided us in the successful co-ordination of the event. Thankyou
