The Investiture ceremony and award meet 2019-20 of SKPS,Kaduthuruthy was held on 24/06/2019.The chief dignitary of the day was Former Vice Chancellor of MG University Kottayam, Dr.Babu Sebastian. The other dignitaries present were Rev.Fr. Philip Kochuparambil OSB,Assistant Prior,Vallombrosan Benedictine Congregation,India ,Mr.P.K Sivankutty Inspector of Police,Kaduthuruthy ,Rev Fr. Tomy Thervalakattayil OSB,Manager SKPS, Rev.Fr.Joby Kurian Panoorayil OSB,Mr.Mathew K Joseph PTA President.

The ceremony commenced with prayer song and welcome speech which was followed by the presidential address of Fr.Philip. Dr. Babu Sebastian inaugurated the ceremony and awarded the student toppers in the Board Exam ,2019.

Dr.Babu Sebastian stressed the need of sheer perseverance to achieve goals .He also said about the importance of passion for excellence, hard work and spirituality. And added that, the essence of education and knowledge is simplicity and treating everyone equally.

Mr. P.K Sivankutty Insepector of Police, Kaduthuruthy spoke on skill development and social values…empathy, sympathy, social ethics etc that have to be developed in children. The Inspector handed over the sashes and badges. This was then followed by cultural programme and concluded with national anthem.
