Reading is important as it develops our thinking capacity and gives important life lessons. It moulds our personality and makes us a better person. India celebrates June 19th as National Reading Day in honour of P N Panicker, the father of library and literacy movement in Kerala.
SKPS family celebrated reading day virtually. A quiz competition was conducted for our students on Saturday 19th June, 2021. The competition was held in three categories. Category I consisted of classes 5,6 & 7; category II consisted of classes 8, 9 &10; and category III consisted of classes 11 & 12. The general coordinators of the quiz competition were Ms Shijimole AC, Mr Bijo Parasseril, Mr. Babu Joseph and Mr Emil Abraham Kuriakose. Preliminary round took place on 19th June from 9.30am to 9.45am through Microsoft Teams. The questions were based on general knowledge and current affairs. Students were instructed to upload answers and the respective class teachers evaluated the quiz.
