[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SKPS witnessed a day packed with sterling health care ideas and first aid procedures. The Red Cross Club of our school organised a training session on First Aid that would rightfully help upraise awareness among the students to be more conscious about safety concerns in daily life and knowing a tad more on how to help people in jeopardy.

An hour session was carried out by Dr Hari Krishnan, Casualty Medical Officer,Taluk Headquarters Hospital,Vaikom. The lecture commenced with a brief welcome speech by Mr. Babu Joseph, Vice Principal. The meeting was honoured with the presence of Rev. Fr. Joby Pannoorayil, Principal and Red Cross President Master Amal.

Around 300 students from class 8,9 and 11 attended the session which started at 2:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Various first aid tips were discussed with the help of slide presentations on the DOS and don’ts in various day to day situations.
