Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 5th September. Students were instructed to show their love and respect to the teachers through participating in online activities such as sharing their selfies with teachers and also acknowledging the teachers in Social media by popularising hash tags #OurTeachersOur Heroes and #TeachersFromIndia respectively.

ART INTEGRATED LEARNING AND ART INTEGRATED PROJECT

CBSE has incorporated a new learning strategy called Art Integrated Learning for the students. This new strategy was included in SKPS curriculum. Students were given the state Himachal Pradesh to prepare their projects. Each subject has to be integrated with Himachal Pradesh’s geography, culture, economy, literature, art and craft forms. Students have prepared articles, poems, models, craft items, power point, painting, digital painting, dance and culinary art.

CELEBRATION OF THE CONSTITUTION DAY

Constitution Day was celebrated online on 26th November to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26th November 1949. Honourable Prime Minister of India read the Preamble of Indian Constitution at 11:00 AM on the same day. Students of SKPS also took part in the live programme along with the Prime Minister of India. In addition, Department of Social Science conducted a special online event for the students of class X. Teachers explained the role and relevance of the  constitution in India. Later, teachers and students read the preamble together.

ONLINE ENERGY QUIZ AND SURVEY

Kerala Energy Management Centre conducted an online quiz competition for the students in the month of December to create awareness about the conservation of energy. Our students took part in the competition. In addition, a survey was also conducted to understand energy consumption pattern of households. Our students took part in the survey and shared their views and opinions about the challenges in energy conservation.
