BishOP I am glad to know that St. Kuiakose Public School is celebrating its Silver Jubilee

and to mark the occasion you are publishing a souvenir. Such an initiative is a
great opportunity for the students to manifest their literary and artistic talents.
It shows the vivacity of the institution, its prospects and objectives. Within a
short span of time SKPS can be proud of giving students high level ethical and
intellectual standards.

The curriculum at SKPS goes beyond, academics and concentrates on holistic
development of the students. It is relentless in its quest for excellence by
promoting the students' creative ability and social sensitivity.
Aristotle once said, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no
6 education at all.” All these years you have been educating the mind and heart of
your students and thus making it more integral. St. Benedict and the Benedictines
contributed much to the church and society in its crucial periods even in the field
of education. SKPS run by the Vallombrosian Benedictines under the Archeparchy
of Kottayam is no exception. I wish everyone in the campus prayerful greetings
and God’s blessings in the coming years too.
